The Vallejo Choral Society is delighted to present our annual Concert & Gala, Shine on Those Who Dwell in Darkness, on Sunday, March 15. Set against the stunning views from Vallejo’s Springbrook Masonic Temple, guests will enjoy live music, fine wine, hors d’oeuvres, and an exciting Silent Auction before settling in for a moving choral performance.
The afternoon’s concert will feature I Will Lift Up Mine Eyes, a powerful cantata by acclaimed American composer Adolphus Hailstork—a work of depth, hope, and luminous beauty, conducted by Artistic Director Julia Morris and featuring acclaimed tenor Sidney Ragland. The other titles on the program speak to this same journey and finding the strength to move through times of trouble.
